My story

Chien blanc assis près d'un vase avec deux fleurs colorées, fond blanc.

It all began when I was seven years old, competing in my first-ever spelling bee—the thrill of competition, the challenge of mastering new words, and the rush of getting them right. As a kid, I developed a strategy: to spell difficult words, I had to read everything. I devoured almanacs, atlases, dictionaries, newspapers, and novels—anything I could get my hands on. Even Scrabble became an obsession, and I took immense pride in beating anyone who dared to play against me.

This passion for words naturally evolved into a love for literature and an eagerness to express myself beyond just spelling. I thrived in debate competitions, refining my ability to persuade, argue, and captivate an audience. This love for speaking led me to take on leadership roles, from debate team competitor to student council leader, where I discovered the power of language not just on paper but in the real world.

When the time came to choose a field of study, English literature felt like home—a space where stories, ideas, and the beauty of language came to life. Today, as a teacher, I share this passion with my students, helping them not just learn English, but embrace it, use it, and love it as much as I do.
